During studies, 20 hours/week are allowed for work in the UK. During Vacations, students can utilize their 40 hours a week for work. Undergraduate students can work only 10 hours a week during their study session. Students of public colleges that are funded by the government can do any full-time job during the offseason. International students of private institutions are not allowed to do any full-time or part-time jobs.
Undergraduate students cannot stay further in the UK after completing their degrees. Ph.D. students can stay only for one year on a work visa. Moreover, one thousand exceptional students are permitted to stay in the UK every year for a job on completing their studies. Later on, they can apply for permanent residence.
For a UK visa, needed documents include passport size photographs, valid passport, TOEFL or IELTS score, sufficient bank balance, admission letter from the particular university, educational transcripts.
